The theater at Rematia in the Athens suburb of Halandri has suffered major damages, after a fire broke out around midday on Monday.
According to the Fire Brigade the fire spread in the area by dry leaves, but no homes in the nearby areas are at risk. Thirty fire fighters and ten vehicles have been deployed to set the fire under control.
Access to the area has been problematic though, as many parked vehicles were in the way, prompting the police to intervene and move some of the vehicles.
