The convicted 17 November member Christodoulos Xiros will be kept at the Central Police HQ until the 22nd of May, when he is scheduled to testify in response to an alleged prison break plan.
According to the alleged plan which was foiled with Xiros’ arrest earlier in January, a van packed with explosives would be used to blow a hole in the exterior walls of the Korydallos prison facility, in order to liberate imprisoned members of the Conspiracy of Fire Cells militant group.
The attorney of Christodoulos Xiros revealed that his client intends to submit a “political” deposition.
