The President Prokopis Pavlopoulos met with the former President Christos Sartzetakis at 10am on Thursday at the presidential office.

When he received Mr. Sartzetakis, the President reminded him that he had sworn him in the Zolotas government. Mr. Sartzetakis joked that he did not visit to be sworn in today and thanked him for the warm reception.

Mr. Sartzetakis, a former Supreme Court judge, served as President from 1985 to 1990 and was succeeded by New Democracy founder Konstantinos Karamanlis.

At 13:30 President Pavlopoulos will receive representatives from the union of bilateral Greek-European chambers of commerce.
