The Institute of Geodynamics of the National Observatory of Athens has announced that an earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale occurred at about 6:49am, about 380 kilometers southeast of Athens.
The earthquake specifically occurred in the maritime area 45 kilometers south southeast of Tympaki in Crete. Another earthquake was documented in the same area on Monday.
