Digital television network operator Digea experienced a technical failure, which knocked the private television channels off the air for a couple hours, between 9 and 11 on Tuesday morning.

The “black out” affected all private networks, with public broadcaster NERIT remaining on the air, thanks to its own digital platform.

Digea’s director Giorgos Mathios told To Vima that the technical error was related to multiplexing and estimated would promptly be restored.
