The chief of the Eurogroup Working Group Thomas Wieser told Austrian state radio and television network ORF that he was confident that a solution can be found and called Athens to present a list of reform proposals in May.

Mr. Wieser noted that the Greek government would be presenting such a list at Friday’s critical Eurogroup session in Latvia, but stressed the need to present it in May, as he estimated that Greece would run out of money in June.

The German EWG chief expressed his confidence that there can still be a successful outcome in the negotiations with Athens.
