The Minister of Finances Yanis Varoufakis is headed to Paris, where he has been invited to deliver a speech at the annual conference of the Institute for new Economic Thinking, on freedom, equality and uncertainty.

Mr. Varoufakis is going to participate in a panel discussion on the Eurozone institutions and national sovereignty amid negotiations for rescuing banks. His speech will be foreworded by Nobel prize laureate and economic professor Joseph Stiglitz.

On Thursday Mr. Varoufakis will meet with the general secretary of the OECD Angel Gurria. The Finance Minister will be accompanied by the Alternate Minister of International Economic Relations Euclid Tsakalotos.
