The counter-terrorism police appear to have found a building where convicted 17 November member Christodoulos Xiros and the Conspiracy of Fire Cells (SPF) group appears to have prepared and tested out explosive devices.
According to the police report, the building is located just outside the village Loutropyrgos, which is near the 290th kilometer of the old Athens-Corinth national highway.
It appears that Xiros and other SPF members tested a explosive devices against a cement wall, in preparation for an ambitious prison escape plan that was foiled after Xiros’ arrest. Crime Investigation officers are on-site collecting trace elements and other evidence for further investigation.
