The Ministry of Culture announced on Tuesday that the archeologists have cleared up the wall and dirt surrounding the impressive Caryatid statues, revealing the tall marble bases upon which the female divs were placed.

The marble bases are constructed in a similar style to rest of the tomb and measure 1.40 meters tall, 1.36 meters wide and 0.72 meters deep. The combined height of the marble bases and the Caryatids is 3.67 meters. Archeologists also noticed traces of blue paint on the marble bases.

The technical teams working on site have also increased the support efforts in the tomb in order to facilitate the archeological dig, with work about to begin on the third, dirt-filled chamber.
