The General Secretariat of Civil Protection has issued a warning of a high risk of fires on Thursday, due to the strong winds and high temperatures.
According to the Civil Protection’s announcement, the highest risks of a fire outbreak are in Attica, Viotia, Korinthia, Messinia and Laconia.
Local authorities and state agencies have been informed and will be on alert in order to address any fire outbreaks immediately.
