TAIPED: Five binding offers made for two properties in Afantou

The state privatization fund TAIPED announced that there have been five binding offers made for two properties in the Afantou area in Rhodes.

According to TAIPED two binding offers were made for the “Golf – North Afantou” plot of land; one by M. A. Angeliades Inc.(26.9 million euros) and Dimand S.A (17.5 million euros).

For the “Voice of America – South Afantou” plot TAIPED has received three binding offers from M. A. Angeliades Inc. (13.9 million euros), T.N. Aegean Sun Investment Ltd (15.023 million euros) and the I. Hatzilazarou hotel, tourist, agricultural and construction business (12.350 million euros).

The privatization fund will carry out the necessary legal and financial checks and will request improved, final offers from the two highest bidders for the South Afantou plot, in accordance with the auction rules, so that a decision may be made by the 8^th of August.
