Samaras: “The police officer is the shield of the people and democracy”

The Prime Minister Antonis Samaras visited the Police headquarters at 14:30 on Tuesday, where he met with the Minister of Public Order Vasilis Kikilias and the chief of the Hellenic Police Dimitris Tsaknakis.

Mr. Samaras congratulated the police after the recent arrest of anarchist militant Nikos Maziotis and noted that “the Greek police officer is the shield of the common citizen, society and ultimately our democracy”.
