The courts have found former AEK and Kavala F.C. chairman Makis Psomiadis, along with Thomas Mitropoulos, Dionisis Kostoulas, Konstantinos Riavoglou and Periklis Amanatidis guilty of the football match fixing.

On the other hand, Giorgos Christovasilis, Stavros Psomiadis, Vangelis Angelis, Dimitris Dimitriou, Giorgos Havenetidis and Yannis Papakostas were found innocent due to doubts.

Mr. Psomiadis was found guilty of the felony charges of bribery and extortion, while he was chairman of Kavala F.C., while Mitropoulos, Riavoglou, Kostoulas and Amaanatidis faced misdemeanor charges of bribery and illegal gambling.

The court prosecutor Virginia Sakellaropoulou suggested accepting mitigating factors in determining sentences for Riavoglou, Kostoulas and Amanatidis, but not for Psomiadis and Mitropoulos, prompting the later two to complain.
