PASOK MP Michalis Kassis, who was invited to speak on Mega Channel’s morning chat show, reiterated his position that he does not intend to vote for the controversial new real estate tax, nor support the lift on primary residence auction bans.

Mr. Kassis explained that he “will not be told what to vote” and argued that he will not give in to the logic that the government might fall, as a result of a negative outcome in these critical votes.

Regarding the rumored lift on a temporary ban for primary residence auctions, the “rebel” MP stressed that it is inconceivable to approve such a measure when the Greek people have seen their financial situation change dramatically for the worse, after wage cuts, unemployment and loans.
