The President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has arrived in Athens, a day ahead of a trilateral summit meeting with Greece and Cyprus that is planned for Wednesday. The Egyptian President is scheduled to visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at 12:30, followed by meetings with Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos (at 12:45) and Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras (15:05). A press conference will follow.

Later on in the evening, the President of Egypt and the Greek PM will attend a business conference focused on Greece and Egypt, where many business and institutional bodies will participate. A trade agreement will be signed on the sidelines of the conference, formalizing the cooperation between the ports of Kavala and Alexandroupoli with Egyptian ports.

On Wednesday, Mr. el-Sisi will meet with his Cypriot counterpart Nikos Anastasiadis at 9am, who will then meet with the Greek Prime Minister. The trilateral summit talks are set to begin at 11:00, with three country leaders set to give a press conference after its conclusion.
