In the latest survey conducted by Pro Rata for the Efimerida ton Syntakton newspaper, SYRIZA appears to have a 5% lead over New Democracy, while the smaller parties are going to fight for the third position in Parliament. In the poll company’s previous survey, SYRIZA had a 3.5% lead.
When asked which party they intend to vote for, the respondents answered:
- SYRIZA – 28.5%
- New Democracy – 23.5%
- Golden Dawn – 6.5%
- PASOK – 4.5%
- KKE – 4.5%
- The River – 4%
- Union of Centrists – 3.5%
- Independent Greeks – 2.5%
- Popular Union – 2.5%
- Other party – 2.5%
- Undecided – 17.5%
According to the survey, SYRIZA is starting to see greater support from its voters (64%), while New Democracy appears to have received the maximum support (83%) from its voters.
As for the post-election alliances, 23% of respondents favor a ‘grand coalition’ coalition with SYRIZA and New Democracy, while just as many want to give the SYRIZA/Independent Greeks coalition government another shot. About 18% want SYRIZA to form an independent government, while all other coalition options do not garner more than 8%.
