The Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Kotzias has called a meeting of the National Council on Foreign Policy on Wednesday morning, in order to discuss the latest developments in southeast Europe.
Mr. Kotzias recently returned from a tour in the Western Balkans and visited Kosovo, Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Last month he visited FYROM, Serbia and Montenegro.
The aim of Mr. Kotzias’ visits was two-fold; to expand Greece’s bilateral relations in the Balkans on all fronts, as well as to strengthen Greece’s role as a guarantor of safety and stability in the region.
