The Hellenic Bank Association is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras at 10am on Wednesday, in order to discuss the issue of auctions, as a new Civil Procedure Code is being debated and voted upon in Parliament.

According to various sources, the government expects the bankers to commit to not changing anything regarding the auction of primary residences until the end of the years, when the new Code is set to come into effect.

Until then, the government is planning on introducing an amendment in Parliament which will block any such auctions.
