A mini heat wave will hit Greece on Tuesday, with meteorologists expecting temperature to climb to 40 degrees Celsius in western parts of Greece. The temperature will drop a bit of Wednesday and Thursday, but a new raise is expected on Friday.
Despite the slight overcast weather on Tuesday, the temperature in many areas in Greece will climb to 39 degrees, with the western parts of the country reaching 30 degrees. The northerly winds will measure between 3 and 5, while in the Aegean winds will measure 6 to 7 on the Beaufort scale.
On Wednesday and Thursday the temperatures is expected to drop a bit and provide some relief, however the heat wave will continue on Friday and Saturday, when wind speeds are expected to drop.
