The Eurogroup held a teleconference on Thursday morning, following the approval of a bill of prior actions requested by the country’s creditors, where it decided to approve a 7-billion-euro bridge loan for Greece.

The Eurozone Finance Ministers discussed the vote that took place in Athens late on Wednesday, thus paving the way for the third bailout. Following the discussion, approval may be needed by Eurozone parliaments.

Earlier in the week, the chief of the Eurogroup Jeroen Dijsselbloem stated that an additional teleconference may take place on Friday, in order to approve the resumption of negotiations with Athens, so that the new support program and loan from the ESM may be approved.
