The US Secretary of Treasury Jack Lew is traveling to Frankfurt on Wednesday, where he is scheduled to meet with the chief of the European Central Bank Mario Draghi. Wednesday’s meeting will be the first in a series, indicating Washington’s determination to final a solution to the Greek problem.

On Thursday the American official will then travel to Berlin, where he will be received by his German counterpart, Minister of Finances Wolfgang Schäuble. Mr. Lew will then travel to Paris in the afternoon, where he will meet with French Finance Minster Michel Sapin.

According to a statement issued by the US Treasury, Mr. Lew will exchange opinions on the global economy as well as the progress with Greece and the Eurozone.
