The Ministry of Education has announced that it will publish the Panhellenic exam results at around noon on Tuesday, putting an end to the agony of thousands of students across Greece.

During the exam period there was some controversy over the difficulty of some subjects – such as in Math, Physics and Ancient Greek – suggesting that may significant fluctuations in university entry requirements. The drop in entry requirements for Medical Schools, which traditionally have some of the highest requirements, is expected to be significant.

Students will now be called to submit their University preferences by the 7th of July on the Education Ministry’s website. The university entry requirements, which are based on the results of new applicants, will be announced in the second half of August.

The exam results will be available online at http://results.it.minedu.gov.gr. The results for special courses (such as art and sport) will be announced in the next few days.
