The Chania III passenger ship reported that it was taking on water early on Friday morning, while off the southwest coast of Ikaria.
The Coast Guard dispatched a vessel to assist in the evacuation of the ship’s 9 passengers and 2 crew members. The Chania III is also being tugged away to safety.
