The General Secretary of Public Revenue Katerina Savvaidou is set to announce a series of interventions and initiatives in order to tackle the problem of uninsured vehicles, at a press conference organized by the Greek association of insurance companies on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the insurance market and Finance Ministry are to work closer, so that local police authorities may carry out the relevant inspections, with the support pf the General Secretariat of Information Systems.
It has been estimated that about 1 in 5 vehicles does not have insurance, based on the findings of the Hellenic Information Center (HIC).
