The leader of the River Stavros Theodorakis has called for an emergency meeting of the political leaders under the President, following the breakdown in negotiations between the Greek government and the creditors in Brussels.
Mr. Theodorakis called President Pavlopoulos to arrange the meeting with the Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, in order to inform the other political leaders of the latest developments.
In its statement, the River notes that “the country must stand tall in Europe and this must be clear to everyone. We expect a responsible response form the country’s political and state leadership«.
To that end, Mr. Theodorakis will be received by President Pavlopoulos at his office at 2pm on Monday.
