The Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has arranged to meet with the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker at 2pm local time (3pm Greek time) on Thursday, on the sidelines of the EU-CELAC Summit in Brussels.
The two met briefly on Wednesday evening prior to the trilateral meeting, with Mr. Juncker giving the Greek PM a warm welcome, this dispelling rumors of a falling out and doubts over today’s meeting.
Earlier in the day, the Greek Prime Minister met with his Finnish counterpart Juha Sipilä, President of Brazil Dilma Rousseff and Vice President of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel. Meetings have also been arranged with the President of Bolivia Evo Morales, the President of Ecuador Rafael Correa and Argentine Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman.
