Following his Wednesday-evening meeting with the German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande in Brussels, the Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras underlined the need for a sustainable solution.

The Greek Premier stressed that the meeting was carried out in a very friendly and positive attitude and that the three leaders agreed to intensify negotiations to bridge the remaining differences.

Mr. Tsipras also told journalists that for a solution to be sustainable, it must allow Greece the ability to return to growth with security, social cohesion and a sustainable debt. This, in turn, will bring stability and security not just for Greece, but Europe as a whole.
