According to government sources, the creditors have not yet responded to the counter-proposal for an agreement that was submitted on Monday evening.
The sources argued “the Greek government has submitted its proposal to the institutions, along with two supplementary documents with specific, alternative treatments on the fiscal gap and the sustainability of the Greek debt”.
“These proposals were submitted to European Commissioner Pierre Moscovici late on Monday evening. So far, there has been no comment or response to the Greek delegation, which remains in Brussels” the sources added.
