The European Commissioner for Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici appeared confident of an agreement being reached between the Greek government and its creditors.
Mr. Moscovici, who appeared at a conference on economics organized by the European Political Strategy Center in Brussels, argue that the agreement would provide financial aid in exchange for reforms.
According to the European Commissioner, there was progress in the negotiations with Greece and although there is still some distance between both sides, he commented that the next hours and days are necessary.
