Four men have been arrested in Lasithi, in Crete, as they were attempting to sell a priceless Minoan-era Kouros statue.

According to the local media , the four men were trying to sell the statue for 1 million euros. The District Police Director of Crete and the Police Director of Lasithi will provide further details in a press conference.

The four arrested men will face felony charges for illicit trade in antiquities and cultural heritage.
