According to data of the Integrated Information System of IKA, only an estimated 9 out of 100 debtors have made arrangements for a settlement with the insurance funds.
Specifically, only 33,467 of the 381,401 who have debts with the insurance funds have settled their debts. At the end of May about 196 million euros of debts had been settled under the “fixed settlement” deal, compared to 176 million euros worth of debt in April.
The data shows that in April an estimated 439 million euros worth of debt had been settled under the “new start” deal and a further 426 million euros in May.
