The veteran MP for New Democracy Gerasimos Giakoumatos accused the German Minister of Finances Wolfgang Schäuble of being “an agent of SYRIZA”, in reference to comments regarding the possibility of third bailout for Greece.
Mr. Giakoumatos appeared on ANT1 and stressed that the German Finance Minister’s recent comments “will make SYRIZA government”.
When asked about the recent elections, Mr. Giakoumatos admitted that New Democracy suffered a loss and that “anyone who can’t see that is blind” before arguing that the defeat was “manageable”.
The New Democracy MP also set three goals for the coalition government: to increase the number of installments for the payment of debt to IKA and tax services to 100, to create 300,000 jobs by December and to reduce taxes “just like the Prime Minister promised”.
