Vicky Stamati was been taken to the “G. Gennimatas” public hospital at around 11 am on Friday morning. The wife of the former Minister of National Defense Akis Tsohatzopoulos is undergoing a series of tests, after submitting the request at yesterday’s session. A few hours later Mrs. Stamati was returned to the Korydallos correctional facility.
Mrs. Stamatis lawyer Alexis Kougias informed the Felony Appeals Court when his client did not appear in court. Mrs. Stamati has been implicated in the corruption scandal centered on her husband and was detained in prison a year ago.
