The Panhellenic Pharmaceutical Association (PFS) unanimously decided to go on 24-hour rolling strikes as of Monday, in response to the reforms that will affect ownership and shareholding in their sector.

Additionally, the association decided to carry out a new demonstration outside the Ministry of Health at 1pm on Monday.

The strikes were called in response to the changes introduced by the government, which allows the participation of non-pharmacists in the foundation and operation of pharmacies.

During the strikes, customers will be able to buy medication from on-duty and night chemists.
