The first privatization under the SYRIZA-led government was announced via the government gazette, with German-based Fraport winning a tender that will allow it to operate 14 regional airports in Greece.

Government sources underlined though that the terms of the deal will not change, as set out in the Euro Summit agreement in July. Should Fraport however wish to renegotiate part of the agreement, then the government sources note that the deal will be reevaluated as a whole.
