The archeological efforts in the enigmatic ancient tomb in Amphipolis continue, after all five pieces of a marble door of the third dirt-filled chamber were recovered.
Meanwhile, the teams of archeologists continue to remove dirt from the chambers, expecting to find more elements from the tomb that may have broken off the walls and decorations.
Currently the dirt in is about a meter and a half high in the area leading to the third chamber. In the second chamber archeologists expect to find two marble slabs that are missing from the roof, while in the third they are expecting to find a staircase and a door way.
