The consumer protection center KEPKA announced that the average Easter meal is going to be about 7.79% cheaper in 2014 that what it was in 2013, provided consumers look out for discrepancies on the high and low cost of same products.

KEPKA’s study revealed that an Easter meal for 8 to 10 people, including traditional appetizers, two main dishes, two salads, desserts, eggs and fruit will cost between 65.65 and 146.27 euros, which amounts to 7.79% and 12.85%.

The study also showed that there are huge price discrepancies amongst stores selling the same products, with KEPKA urging consumers to further investigate before carrying out any purchases.
