A police operation is under way in Messara of Heraklion in Crete, following the discovery of an arsenal and huge quantity of drugs, during a routine home search.
So far the police have recovered four Kalashnikov assault rifles, two 9mm pistols, about 1,500 rounds of assault rifle ammunition and 20 plastic barrels with huge quantities of cannabis.
Two people have so far been arrested, while the investigation continues.
