The Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras visited Mikis Theodorakis at his home on Tuesday morning and discussed recent political developments, after speaking over the telephone on Monday.

In the short discussion they had on-camera, Mr. Tsipras told the legendary composer that he is “a fighter and as an old fighter, you know that strategy and brain is needed. You must not fall into the opponent’s trap”.

Mr. Theodorakis responded that the Prime Minister is leading a government that is hugely popular in society and that he is expressing the will of the Greek people.

After the private meeting between concluded, the Prime Minister refused to comment.

Previously, Theodorakis published an article where he called for SYRIZA’s leadership to find the strength to say ‘no’ to the Schäuble’s ‘nein’.
