A total of 52,318 migrants and refugees are currently in Greece, according to the last official count publicized by the Refugee Crisis Management Coordination Body.

About half of all migrant and refugees – 26,840 – are in the north of Greece, with 4,013 being accommodated at Polykastro. Meanwhile there are 8,417 on the islands in the Eastern Aegean, with seven arrivals reported in the past 24 hours.

In Attica there are 14,510 migrants and refugees, with 2,900 being accommodated at the Skaramangas camp. In Central Greece there are 2,262 migrants and refugees, while in the south of Greece a total of 289.
