The General Secretary at the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food Nikos Stoupis announced his resignation on Wednesday. In his statement Mr. Stoupis cited personal and professional reasons for his resignation, which he submitted forty day ago.
Mr. Stoupis explained that he believes in the government mission and that he hopes to actively return to contribute, should the causes of the problems forcing him to step down eclipse.
On his behalf, the Minister of Agricultural Development and Food Evangelos Apostolou commented that the departure is a “loss” for his office and praised the outgoing GS for his hard and efficient work.
