Two Syrian men, aged 26 and 27 years old respectively, will be taken to the prosecutor of Rhodes within the day, in order to address charges of human trafficking and the tragic sinking of a boat carrying dozens on Monday.

The two suspected traffickers were identified as such by other migrants who were on-board the boat that ran aground off the coast of Rhodes on Monday.

In total 90 people were rescued (62 men, 22 women and 6 children), while three tragically perished. Most of the people rescued were from Syria.
