A new pro-government demonstration “against creditor blackmail” has been organized for 6pm on Wednesday outside Parliament, on occasion of the critical Eurogroup in Brussels.
The main slogan for the demonstration outside Parliament is “a breath of dignity for all of Greece” and the organizers have called for people to support the government in its negotiations, via their facebook page.
Demonstrations will also take place today in Italy, Cyprus and Portugal, while demonstrations for Saturday are scheduled in London, Amsterdam, Edinburgh and Brussels.
A similar pro-government demonstration also took place last week and saw about 8,000 people attend without incident. Similar demonstrations and rallies are also being organized in other Greek cities.
