The Ministry of Culture has announced that it will present the progress of the archeological efforts on Kasta Hill in Amphipolis, at an event that has been scheduled for Saturday.

The head of the dig Katerina Peristeri, architect Michalis Lefantzis and civil engineer Dimitris Eglezos are set to be the main speakers at the even, which will be coordinated by Professor of Classic Archeology Vasilis Lamprinoudakis and the director of the Museum of Cycladic Art Nikos Stampoulidis.

Last week, the Minister of Culture Kostas Tasoulas announced that the efforts in Amphipolis are far from over and that the geophysical survey that is being conducted will shed light on the mysterious tomb and inform the future of the search.
