The four men who were arrested in relation to the tragic death in an amusement park in Elliniko will be taken to the investigative judge to testify. The four men face felony charges of homicide with possible intent.
According to a Mega Channel report, the public administration inspectors are to complete their investigation into the liabilities of municipal authorities, in relation to the permits acquired by the amusement park operator. The mayor of Elliniko will face a disciplinary at the Ministry of Interior, which will be based on the findings of the inspectors.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Interior Yannis Michelakis has issued orders to all general secretaries and municipalities across the country to carry out immediate inspections of playgrounds, amusement parks as well as nurseries, in order to ensure their safety. The Ministry expects to have completed all inspections by the 30th of June.
