The third annual General Assembly of the National Confederation of Hellenic Commerce (ESEE) took place over between the 25th and 27th of April 2014 at Kyllini in Ilia, which saw the participation of 220 federations and trader’s associations.

Amongst the assembly’s decisions was renaming ESEE from the “National Confederation of Hellenic Commerce” to the “Hellenic Confederation of Commerce and Entrepreneurship”, as well as making provisions to allow cooperative members to participate in the new ESEE’s procedures.

The newly-renamed confederation held that small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in Greece have reached their limits and demanded from the government to initiate discussions with production agents in order to safeguard the backbone of Greek commerce.
