German reparations report to be submitted by the end of 2014

The Parliamentary Assembly decided that the Special Intergroup Parliamentary Committee handling the German Reparation case must submit its report by the end of the year.

This Special Committee is comprised of 19 MPs from all parties, in proportion to their representation in Parliament. The formation of the Committee was requested by SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras and MP Manolis Glezos.

Last week the Presidents of Parliament convened and unanimously decided to push the Committee formation proposal forward, before it was approved by Parliament today.
