An armed robbery took place on Friday morning at the “Agia Sofia” children’s hospital, causing panic amongst patients, parents and the healthcare personnel.
The two armed robbers entered the hospital and made their way to the Alpha Bank branch on the first floor. The two men immobilized the staff and removed an as-yet unknown sum of money, before escaping.
The police has begun investigating footage from security cameras in order to determine the identity of the two robbers.
