The Police’s extensive investigation on Romani camps and tourist areas in Peloponnesus continue today with efforts focused in Laconia.
The Police Directorate of Peloponnesus is supported by special agencies based in Attica. At the helm of the operation is the Police Inspector of Southern Greece Ioannis Dikopoulos and the General Police Director of Peloponnesus Ilias Georgopoulos.
On Thursday the operations in Messinia resulted in 20 arrests, while over the entire week, the Police has arrested more than 300 individuals.
