The Peloponnesus Police Directorate has launched an investigation of Romani camps in its jurisdiction, with the first operation taking place in a camp at Examilia in Korinthia.
The Police have investigated a large number of vehicles and homes in the camp and detained at least 20 individuals for further questioning, regarding their involvement in various crimes.
The police operations in Korinthia will continue for the rest of the day.
